Large lake, quiet and serene. Trails for hiking could be marked much better. Otherwise, clean and nice place!

The first time I went here, Google sent me to the boat launch area which is nice but not much else to do. Decided to try it again after seeing it has 14+ miles of trails. Today I found the 3 main parking areas around the very large lake. The dam area has the largest lot with people picnicing, fly fishing, and playing disc golf on an 18 hole course! It took a long time to find the hiking trails as I couldn't find any maps or signs showing where trails began. Finally found the West Shore Trail which cut through a very nice wooded area- shady with many rocks, moss and tree roots. Saw some frogs, woodchucks, and a herd of deer. The boat launch area was busy though I didn't see any boats in the water. Overall this park is very nice. My only suggestion would be better marked park entrances and trail maps by the parking lots.

Fun, and scenic mostly open course with a good handful of longer than average par 3's. An interesting place to see, looks like some baskets near the damn may have been submerged at some point.

Very nice park... Too bad you can't find the entrance! Hint... Google maps sends you to the boat ramp. No trail access there. But if you go to the northern end of the lake, and take the small road, you will see the very small parking area for the trailhead. Have fun! Dog owners beware there is old wire fence along the main trail and it's barely visible. Dogs will run headlong into it. Also some barbed wire at front entrance and part of the trail is collapsed with a 30 foot drop!

Really enjoy fishing here. It's nice that it's limited to 10 hp. No jet skis or water skiers. If only the people launching kayaks would stop blocking the ramp with their cars.
